Pharmacy Manager

Prescriptions, expiry and controlled drugs

A separate workspace for pharmacies: a live dashboard, a prescription counter, doctors and patient profiles, dispensing labels, expiry-first selling with one-click write-offs and supplier returns, a controlled drugs register and a fast keyboard pharmacy till.

Synex Pharmacy Manager gives your pharmacy its own workspace — the counter, the dispensary and the manager's view, in one place.

Live dashboard

See today's sales, prescriptions waiting, ready and filled, stock expiring in the next 30, 60 and 90 days, medicines below their reorder level, controlled drug alerts and the patients whose refills are due.

Prescription counter

A patient hands in a prescription; you record it with the doctor and a photo. When it is prepared, mark it ready and the patient gets a message by WhatsApp (Synex WhatsApp business messaging) or SMS. When they come back, fill it at the till in one step.

Doctors and patients

Keep a list of doctors and a profile for every patient with their allergies and their full medicine and prescription history, so the pharmacist sees what matters before dispensing. Print a dispensing label with the dose and instructions.

Expiry under control

The till always sells the batch that expires first (expiry-first selling) and never an expired one. The expiry dashboard shows what is about to expire, and one click writes a batch off or returns it to the supplier — posted to your books automatically.

Controlled drugs register

Every controlled medicine received and dispensed is recorded in a printable register. If the count on the shelf does not match the register, you are alerted straight away.

Safe online selling

Prescription-only and controlled medicines can never be bought on your online store — customers can only buy what is safe to sell without a prescription.

Fast pharmacy till

Work entirely from the keyboard. Search by brand or generic name, see generic substitutes with their stock and price, sell a tablet, a strip or a box, and send refill reminders so patients come back on time.

Questions

Is it suitable for a pharmacy?

Yes. The Pharmacy module adds generic names and substitutes, first-expiry-first-out selling that blocks expired batches, prescriptions with patient and doctor details, a printable controlled drugs register, an expiry dashboard with returns to suppliers, and refill reminders.

How does the prescription counter work?

The patient hands in a prescription and you record it with the doctor and a photo. When it is prepared, mark it ready and the patient gets a message by WhatsApp or SMS. When they come back, you fill it at the till in one step.

Will I ever sell an expired medicine by mistake?

No. The till always sells the batch that expires first (expiry-first selling) and blocks expired batches. The expiry dashboard shows stock expiring in 30, 60 and 90 days, and one click writes a batch off or returns it to the supplier, posted to your books.

Does it keep a controlled drugs register?

Yes. Every controlled medicine received and dispensed is recorded in a printable register, and you are alerted when the shelf count and the register do not match.

Can customers buy prescription medicines on my online store?

No. Prescription-only and controlled medicines can never be bought on the online store. Customers can only order what you are allowed to sell without a prescription.

Can I keep patient allergies and history?

Yes. Each patient has a profile with allergies and their full medicine and prescription history. You can print dispensing labels and send refill reminders when a refill is due.
